Blossoming As An Artist with Sandy Terry

"Know that all of the experience that you bring in your life is what is going to come through in the work that you ultimately create."

– Sandy Terry

In this episode of Living A Creative Life, we talk with artist Sandy Terry.

Understanding nature is vital to life and to art. When we slow down to engage with the natural world, our creativity and imaginations ignite.

That's why this spring, we're taking the time to explore the theme "Blooming Colour." We're delving into the ways nature and colour can be a catalyst for artists to soak up the full spectrum of beauty and diversity in the world around us.

Our first guest to speak on our theme, Sandy Terry, is an award winning painter. Her passion for florals bursts off the canvas with loosely flowing brushwork. She adeptly uses transparent and opaque paints to layer pigments and achieve greater depth in her paintings. Her work is truly breathtaking. In this episode, we're excited to be catching up with her to discuss her craft, personal journey, and devotion to her subject.
