Dave will be focusing on the value of the 3 pure pigment, translucent, primary watercolours and how they can create punch in a painting. The painting he has in mind is a sunlit tropical scene with a sail boat pulled up on the beach.
After a lifelong career in forensic civil engineering in South Africa, Dave started watercolour painting in 2002 and rapidly progressed to the coveted "Associateship" with the Watercolour Society of South Africa in 2007.
