Barry demonstrates techniques for portraiture using acrylic on canvas. He will paint a portrait during the demo, sharing his process and style with you. Some of his sitters include Elvis Costello, Silken Laumann and Shakespearean actor and director Neil Freeman.

Barry completed his early training at the East Sydney College of Art, where he studied portraiture at a young age. As a teen in Australia, Barry was taught by one of Australia’s foremost portrait painters, Joshua Smith.
