Starting with a pre-painted canvas, Tanta will cut through it so she can weave in found elements from front to back. They will be attached using, wire, wool, screws and glue. The work is colourful, process oriented and intriguing.
Tanta is an artist living and painting in Victoria, BC. She is currently enrolled in the diploma program at the Vancouver Island School of Art and will graduate in 2011.
