Chiarina is a multi-award winning artist working in printmaking, watercolour and book arts. After many years living abroad, mostly in Asia, she is now back in Canada, living in Victoria, BC, and working and involving herself with the local art community. She is a member of Collective Works Gallery in Fernwood, the juried, semi-annual Stinking Fish Studio Tour and teaches printmaking out of The School House Studio in Metchosin.
Chiarina teaches a variety of printmaking workshops, with photo etching being the most popular.
Portrait commissions in her unique style of photopolymer gravure etchings are much in demand. Chiarina's own works are evocative meditations on love and life, expressed through figurative renderings and abstractions.
