Introduction to Pet Portraits in Coloured Pencil

$110 Learn basic techniques of working with Prismacolor coloured pencils, with specific attention to capturing the qualities of our feline, canine and equine companions. Coloured pencil is a fascinating medium that allows the user to capture a wide range of textures and effects. Shading and textural techniques will be explored before participants commence work on a portrait of their own pet.
The workshop takes place over three mornings, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. giving participants opportunities to work independently at home each week.
A specific supply list will be provided prior to the workshop. Participants will be responsible for purchasing their supplies in advance.
The workshop will be held at the instructor's Langley studio and is limited to a maximum of 6 participants.
