Photo Etching

The course everyone's is clamoring for: An intaglio plate is formed utilizing UV light to create the image on a solar plate, which is then inked and transferred to the printmaking paper to create an evocative and exciting work of art.

The prints are inked with oil-based etching inks. Both the single and the double exposure techniques are taught to create four unique plates. No printmaking experience necessary. Assistance and guidance with preparing the transparencies is provided.
