Soapstone is the softest naturally-occurring stone, and is the easiest to carve. This workshop covers all you need to know - tools, design, roughing out, through to finishing and polishing. You will go home at the end of the day with a finished carving of an seal (about 6" long). Wear old clothes or a shop apron - you will get dusty!
