The course everyone's is clamoring for: An intaglio plate is formed utilizing UV light to create the image on a solar plate, which is then inked and transferred to the printmaking paper to create an evocative and exciting work of art. A two day workshop that takes you from creating the image on the solar plate from a prepared transparency to learning how to ink the plate to create a hand-pulled print. The prints are inked with oil-based etching inks. Both the single and the double exposure techniques are taught to create four unique plates. Assistance and guidance with preparing the transparencies is provided.
