The Art of Photography

This workshop will focus on creating a good composition and pushing yourself beyond your normal limits. What makes a good composition? a great one? a compelling one? how to train your eye and be more mindful while composing your image. Lots of tips and tricks to push your average ‘snapshots’ to a higher level. After the classroom session, we’ll explore the beautiful grounds of Coast Collective and apply your new knowledge. Bring along your camera, charged batteries, clothing appropriate for the weather and a desire to have fun!

Session 2 we will review students’ photos, explore some techniques on the computer with Photoshop editing to improve your compositions as well as some field ‘play’.
