This course is designed for artists with basic painting experience who are interested in taking their paintings to the next level. We will be using Still Life (if desired) and images (as our primary source of inspiration) to create loose, "painterly" renderings as well as exploring the use of a limited palette, design and composition. There will be classroom demonstrations, as well as time to work independently (with guidance) on students chosen projects. The class is designed to be a relaxed and social environment, as well as creative and meaningful. Acrylic or Oil
