Paper Clay Art Dolls

Fee:
$149 Merge memory and material to create an expressive and unique art doll. You will create an eight-inch art doll based on a simple armature using paper clay along with fabric, paint, and other materials. Your doll can bring to life a personal memory, a photograph, or an image or idea that you create. In this studio course, demonstration and practice will be supplemented with discussions of clay and paint media, basic anatomy and colour theory. This is a fast-paced course for complete beginners or those wanting to explore a new medium. All supplies included in the $40 supply fee to be paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class.
This course is held off campus at John Braithwaite Community Centre.
