Sun, February 25, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

February 25, 2018 – Please note: The 11 AM demonstration is now full and no further registration will be taken. Thank you for your interest! Note: there are still 2 spots remaining in the 2 PM demonstration.

Join Marney-Rose as she demonstrate how to create intimate portraits of pets with techniques for painting fur.

Learn how to incorporate the background to create a soft edge for the fur and how the background is just as important in developing the details.

Watch as Marney-Rose brings these pets to life by painting in their eyes! This is excellent for painters who want to capture their animal companions or learn to develop their skills for painting animal features.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Langley or contact them at 604‑533‑0601 to register.

Marney-Rose was raised in New Zealand in the beautiful art deco seaside town of Napier. Born into a creative family; her dad was an avid amateur photographer, and her mum hand coloured photographs and dabbled in pastels. Ever since being a child, Marney-Rose has loved creating beautiful things; always fascinated with colour. She is a late bloomer venturing into painting in her forties but has an inexhaustible passion for it. As a Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Marney is a natural teacher. She has a following with her watercolour classes and workshops and teaches privately and for various Art Associations, inside and outside British Columbia.
