Join Gareth as he demonstrates his techniques and strategies for how he pencils, inks, and grey-washes a cartoon from scratch while telling fantastic tales of traveling around the world meeting famous cartoonists.

Come and experience the economic use of line to convey the maximum amount of information possible. Stories, art, techniques, and fun will be had by all!

Gareth Gaudin is a cartoonist from Victoria, BC who has spent his life writing, drawing, and publishing comic books and graphic novels. As of this writing, he's created 229 issues of his series Magic Teeth which stars his character The Perogy
Cat.

Besides documenting his life in cartoon form, Gareth is also the Artist In Residence at The Royal BC Museum, has taught art classes at The Art Gallery Of Greater Victoria, The Robert Bateman Centre, and in his studio at Legends Comics & Books (The award winning comic book shop he's worked at for 25 years).
