Getting to a Likeness in Portrait Drawing with Mandy Boursicot

Location:
Langley
Sat, March 3, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Sat, March 3, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Mandy demonstrates how to get to a likeness quickly and efficiently with shadow shapes.

Shadows will serve as the underlying foundation to good portraiture, and Mandy will show how a good light and shadow pattern help the artist to instantly identify proportions and achieve a good likeness.

Mandy will use Pan Pastel and eraser pencils in the first part to draw expressively and spontaneously. Those shadows will be developed too in Nitram charcoal, General's Charcoal and Pencil.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Langley or contact them at 604‑533‑0601 to register.
