Location:
Kelowna
Sat, January 20, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Sat, January 20, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Join Rebecca as she demonstrates a layering process to create dimension in abstract paintings by using additional mediums to manipulate the acrylic paint.

Learn how to blend creatively, find new ways to watch the paint move, and examine when to make the next move. She will show you how to form space with colours and contrast in each layer of paint as you go with and how to play with paint mediums by using your environment to influence your work. Rebecca will be using soaps, oils, water, blow dryer, and spray bottles to demonstrates the many techniques you can apply to acrylic.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Kelowna or contact them at 250‑763‑3616 or toll free 1‑800‑814‑8885 to register.

Born in Toronto, ON, Rebecca always had an avid interest in visual arts, expanding into abstract painting in her early adult years. Inviting natural elements to guide the work, she captures the wild of the earth with the whimsy of the imagination. Now residing in Kelowna, BC, Rebecca works through the seasons adapting as she paints; pursuing the next adventure that will inevitably impact her work.
