Join Suzan as she introduces you to how a "Nag Hammadi Codex" is constructed using non-leather and contemporary materials!

Nag Hammadi codices (books) were initially discovered in 1945 by farmers in Egypt. They are 13 leather-bound volumes of 50 early Christian texts written in the mid-300 A.D. The bookbinding structure of this codex (single quire codex) helped to protect invaluable knowledge for over 1,500 years.

Come and learn more about this beautiful and ancient method to create your own sketchbooks!
