Location:
Granville Island
Sat, January 13, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Sat, January 13, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

January 11, 2018– Please note: The 11:00 AM demonstration is now full, but please sign up for the wait list: often there is an attendee who needs to cancel. Note: there is still room in the 2:00 PM demonstration.

Join Olivia as she demonstrates an unique method of learning Acrylic Techniques and Colour Mixing through a project that can be done at any age or skill set!

The project is an artist study of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, an Austrian artist and architect that was known for incorporating architecture into his quirky paintings and vice versa. Olivia will show how Hundertwasser’s creative structure focused paintings will allow artist to create an imaginary space while learning acrylic techniques and colour at the same time!

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Granville Island or contact them at 604‑736‑7028 to register.

Olivia is originally from Calgary but resides in Vancouver attending Emily Carr University of Art and Design for photography and printmaking. She also teaches at the Luminous Elephant Arts Studio.

Olivia is currently fixated with old camera gear and the process of merging photography with printmaking. She is passionate about the outdoors and love teaching children and adults alike about art. Her favourite colour is the colour of blushed cheeks when it is cold outside.
